For his children, this will be a joyous event that will bring great joy, relief and peace. For the wicked there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Those who want to be saved and escape the great destruction, and who most importantly want to be in God’s kingdom, should start now by believing in Christ and trusting that he will save them, and do the best they can to shape their life after Christ.

A: He gave him the title: Prophet.

Q6 What was the only the Lord could get through to King Nebuchadnezzar? Daniel 2: 1,2

A: The only way the Lord could get through to King Nebuchadnezzar was through dreams.

Q7 If the astrologers and spiritualists knew how to get in touch with God, surely they could find out what he had dreamed. What was his reasonable demand? Daniel 2:3-5

A: That if they could not make known the meaning of his dream, they would be put to death, them and their families.

Q8 What shows that the intelligent and impatient king had already began to loose faith in his astrologers? Daniel 2:8-12

A: He decreed that if the astrologers could not reveal his dream he would destroy all the wise men of Babylon.

Q9  How did Daniel receive an understanding of the dream? Daniel 2:19-22

A: Daniel received an understanding of the dream through a vision at night by God.

Q10 What was the king strange dream? Daniel 2: 31-35

A: The king saw a big image before him. The image’s head was of gold, his arms and breasts were silver, his belly and thighs of brass. His legs were of iron and his feet part iron and part clay. Then a huge rock was cut out without hands, and it smote the image at his feet braking the statute into pieces, which a great wind came and blew away.

Q11 What is God’s interpretation of the dream? Daniel 2:36-42

A: God gave power, strength and glory to the King Nebuchadnezzar, which was represented as the gold head. After that an inferior kingdom was to rise up, and after that and then a third kingdom of brass, which would rule over the earth. A: Those who have come out of great tribulation, who have washed their robes and made them white with the blood of the Lamb.

Reading: Daniel 2

Reflection: God reveals the future to his prophets. His prophets are all those who will follow were he leads. You don’t have to have visions or dreams for God to inspire you with things of the future. Most of the time it’s trough a still, small voice that God talks to us. Contrary to popular beliefs astrologers claims to know the future, but that is not so. They’re revelations do not come from God but from their finite minds which are most of the time controlled by Satan.  God alone truly knows the future and He loves you so much that He will tell you all that will be good for you to know.

“Remember the will is the choice; the deciding power.”

✩Lesson 5✩ Good News for the World

Q1 What did Yahshua say about uniting with Him in service? Matthew 11:28-30

A: He says that his yoke is easy and his burden is light.

Q2 Where does Christ say that it is hard to be lost? Acts 26:14,15

A: It is hard to be lost when we kicked against the pricks

Q3 Since you were born what has the Creator been doing to you? Jeremiah 31:3

A: He has loved us since we were born.

Q4 What is another way of saying the same thing? Romans 2:4

A: Another way of saying it is, because God has been so merciful towards us, it leads us to repentance.

Q5 How many people are in Christ’s school? John 6:45

A: Everyone that wants has learn and hear of Christ.

Q6 How many people does the Lord actually pulls towards Himself? John 12:32
A: Everyone!

Q7 How extremely powerful is the pull the Father draws us with? 2 Corinthians 5 :14,15

A: It controls us, (in a good way) because we have been convinced of a certain truth.

Q8 When one continues to fight continually against Christ, what is he doing? Romans 2:4,5

A: He is setting himself up for the wrath of God which is sure to come, in the day of judgment.

Q9 What does impenitent people do, like Israel when she refused to come to Christ?

Hosea 13:9 Hosea 11:1,4  Luke 22: 2-6,  Matthew 27:3-5

A: They become headstrong like “adults” and when they do so, they are naturally lead by Satan who causes them to sin.

Highlight verse: Proverbs 8:36 “All they that hate me love death.”

Reflection: Have you figured out the good news? The good news is that God sent his Son to die for everyone, in particular the wicked. He wants to save everyone that has ever been born on the face of the earth, that means me, you and everyone we see on a daily basis. Because of this, it is very hard to be lost. One really has to kick against the pricks, or bricks if you may, to be lost. It is easier to be saved then lost so why choose the latter?

When we come to Christ we come under his Spirit and power which control us rightly and leads us where He wills. We are convinced and sure that our Father knows what is best for us, because after all He IS our Creator. When one goes their our own way and become headstrong “adults” one naturally fall under satan’s reign. You can be sure that he wants nothing good in your favour. He wants to see as many as he can, lose eternal life. The only way we can be sure that we are guarded against his tricks and lies, is to be grounded in Christ.

Happy Tuesday,

Ruthline

♡Lesson 4♡ Two kinds of Love

Q1 How useless are your words if you do not have Agape in your heart? 1 Corinthians 13:1

A: Your words are compared to a clanging brass or cymbal, in other words just cacophony.

Q2 How useless is your knowledge and faith if you don’t have agape? 1Corinthians 13:2

A: It is considered as nothing, if you do not have agape love.

Q3 If you give all you have to the poor, and die a martyrs death and don’t have agape love what is it worth? 1 Corinthians 13:3

A: It profited you nothing.

Q4  Out of all professing Christian in the world who really knows the Creator? 1 John 4:7,8

A: Those who love really know the Creator, because the Creator is love. Those who don’t love don’t know God.

Q5 If one has Agape how bold and courageous will he be in the day of judgment? 1 Jn 4:17

A: They will be bold in the day of judgment, just like Yahshua (Jesus) was.

Q6 What does Agape do to our fear of judgment? 1 John 4:18

A: Perfect love casteth out all fear. When we have agape love we do not fear anyone or anything.

Q7 Is it possible for someone to have Agape and continue to transgress the law? Roman 13:10

A: No, because love does not transgress against his neighbor, therefore love fulfils the law perfectly.

Q8 What does natural born human love that everyone including the heathen has enable us to do quite easily? Matthew 5:46, 47

A: The natural born human love that we all are born with, enables us to love those who love us.

Q9 What does Agape love allows us to do? Matthew 5:44

A: Agape love enables us to love those who hurt us, despitefully use us, and to bless those that curse us.

Q10 According to this what does it means to be perfect. Matt 5:45-48

A: To be perfect in this case means to love those who hate you, just like Jesus did.

Q11 In complete contrast, whom is agape love directed to? Romans 5:7 8 10

A: Agape love is directed to not the righteous but the wicked, just like Yahshua (Jesus), came to save sinners not the righteous.

Q12 What was the Savior’s motivation in giving himself for us? 2 Corinthians 8:8,9

A: The Saviors motivation was to become poor so that we in turn might becoming rich by gaining everlasting life.

Q13 When will the world finally recognize God’s true people? John 13 :35

A: When we truly love one another.

Q14 Where do we see agape mostly revealed? 1 John 4:9,10

A: We see agape revealed when God sent his only Son to die for us.

Q15 What bring us real comfort and hope? Romans 15:1-5 Romans 8:37-39

A: What brings us comfort and hope is knowing that through Jesus Christ everything is possible! He has been through every trial that we could possibly imagine, so He understands and He is there to offer us comfort and hope and to remind us that through Him we are nothing but conquerors.

Read: I Cor. 13

Reflection: There are two loves that we talked about today, phileo and agape. Phileo; the love that each of us are born with is loving those who treat us well, who love us back or do us good. Agape love on the other hand is loving those who use us, who hurt us and dispitfully use us. Do not be confused though, you should never let anyone take advantage or abuse you wrongfully, what you are to do though, is to forgive and pray from them. We are nothing if we do not have love. No matter what we do, how successful we are or how much money we have, if we do not posses agape love, the Bible says we are as nothing. As true Christians should also practice agape love, even though we may not feel like it sometimes. God paved the way for us, by sending his one and only Son to die for our sinful race so that we might have eternal life, and when Jesus came to earth He also practiced agape love, by being kind and blessing his persecutors and those who cursed and hated him.

It is for us to follow this example, to put aside our fragile, useless pride, and be like Yahshua (Jesus). Love those who curse and despitefully use you, and you will be blessed. It will not be always easy to do, I can assure you that, but nothing really is and we have the example of Jesus before us, so we have no excuses!

Take care and enjoy your Monday,

Blessings!

✩Lesson 3✩ His name is Emmanuel (God with us)

Q1 What prophecy in Matthew 1:21, 23 was fulfilled when Yahshua came to earth? Isaiah 7:14

A: The prophecy the virgin (Mary) would conceive a child called Jesus, who would save us from our sins.

Q2 What does Emmanuel?  Matthew 1:23

A:  He saves us from our sins.

Q3 What did the Father say at Yahshua’s (Jesus) baptism? Matthew 3:16,17

A: This is my Son whom I am well pleased.

Q4 What did his followers say about Him, those that were closest to Him? Mat 16:13-16 John 20:27,28

A: They said that He was the Son of the living God, only Thomas doubted.

Q5 How did Yah revealed His heavenly love when going through unbearable suffering? Luke 23:34 1 Peter 2:20-23

A: He asked his Father to forgive them, because they knew not what they did. He also bore the suffering without murmuring and trusted in His Father that He would take care of Him. By doing this He set us an example to follow.

Q6 Was Jesus a man, fully human? Hebrews 2:14-18

A: Yes, Jesus was fully human in order that He might conquer death so that we as well can do the same. He could only do this by becoming human himself.

Q7 How completely did Jesus become like us? Romans 8:3,4

A: He became sinful in the flesh just like we are, however He did not sin, but condemned sin in the flesh.

Q8 How does (Jesus) relates to our weaknesses? Hebrews 2:18 Hebrews 4: 14-16

A: Because (Jesus) was tempted in everyway just like we have, He can relate to what we’re going through and offers us the support that we need, like no others can. He however, did not yield to temptation so we may have an example before us and no excuses to make. If Christ did it, so can we.

Q9 What does sin do to us? James 1:14, 15 Romans 6:23

A: The penalty of sin is death, but the gift God offers us is eternal life.

Q10 Do you think that Jesus felt that the Father had truly forsaken Him? Matthew 27:39-46

A: Yes, Jesus truly felt like the Father had forsaken.

Q11 When Yahshua laid aside his divine power to become a man …did he have a will of his own to struggle with as we do? John 5:30 Luke 22:42

A: Yes, He did but His only intention was, to do the will of His Father.

Reflection: God sent his only Son to die for us, so that we may inherit eternal life. By coming to the earth, Jesus took on our fleshly nature and was tempted just as we are. He had no secret stash of power to resist or avoid temptation. He, however did not once yield to temptation and although He sometimes felt lonely, and forsaken by His Father He trusted the Father that He would do whatever was asked of Him. By being in such a position and being tested by all points, Jesus is the only one that can truly relate to us like no other human being can, so it is our duty to seek Him in our time of need, as He only can provide us with true peace and strength.

✩Lesson 2✩ Does God really care?

Q1: Does God really care?  Does the Lord actually claim to be able to do everything? Genesis 18:14 , Jeremiah 32;17

A: Yes, God does care. He cares enough to keep his promises to human beings and He claims that nothing is too hard for Him to do because He is the creator of all things.

Q2: Knowing this what do we naturally wonder seeing injustice, cruelty on every hand in the world? Psalms 10:1

A: We wonder where is God in all of this, and why does it seem like he does not care.

Q3: Can we be sure that God really cares about each person? 1 Timothy 2: 3-6

1 John 3:16

A: We can be sure that God cares for every single person because He sent His only Son to die for us and it is His goal that everyone should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Q4: Where can we see an example of God’s care for his children? Matthew 6:26 Matthew 10: 29-31

A: If God cares about the little sparrow and provides it with food and shelter, how much more do you think He cares for us, who are His crowning creations? He says that we are of more value then the sparrow so we can be sure that if we accept Him into our lives we will be well cared for because we are indeed HIS children.

Q5: Who did Jesus say is the cause of all our human’s problems? Matthew 13:24-28

A: Our enemies the cause of all our human problems.

Q6: Who is this enemy? Matthew 13:38, 39

A: The Devil.

Q7 : Where did the devil come from? Revelation 12:7-9 Luke 10:18

A: The Devil was cast out of heaven because of he let envy cause him war against Michael.

Q8: What kind of being was he? Ezekiel 28: 14, 15

A: He was an anointed cherub.

Q9: What led to Lucifer’s rebellion and sin? Ezekiel 28: 17, 18

A: Lucifer was led to rebellion because of vanity, as he was a very beautiful angle.

Q10: What was Lucifer goal for himself? Isaiah 14:12-14 1 John. 4:7,8 1 Corinthians 13:5 Romans 7:7  John 8:44

A: Lucifer’s’ desire was to anoint himself above God’s himself and become a God. Because those who are love, are of God the devil wasn’t of love and therefore was not of God.

Q11: When Satan’s rebellion reach the crisis what happened? Revelation 12:7-9

A: When Satan’s rebellion reached the crisis he was kicked out of heaven.

Q12: What is our defence against Satan’s deceiving power? John 8 :32-36

A: Our defence against Satan’s deceiving power is to know the truth. The only way to know the truth is when one knows the Son, and when you know the Son He will set you free, from all of Satan’s deceiving power.

Q13: We know evil has come up on us, but how is God constantly undoing its effects? Romans 5 :20 21, 18

A: God is constantly undoing the effects that evil has upon human beings by offering us His grace which through righteousness whosoever will, may be saved.

Q14: Is God actually involved in the task of sending the good news of salvation to everyone leaving no one out? Romans 10: 12 13 18, 17

A: Yes, God is constantly sending out His messengers which are carrying his word from one end of the earth to another. He wants everyone to know the truth, and accept eternal life, as he is not a respecter of persons, and desires only the best for each one of His creation.

Q15: As salt is a preserver what are we to be the earth?  Matthew 5:13, 16

A: We are to be the salt of the earth; a shining light that illuminates the whole earth, bearing a testimony through our works so that Jesus can be glorified.

Reflection:

God does indeed care about us. He sent us His one and only Son to die for us, so that in return we can be saved. The devil does not want anyone to be saved, or inherit the home which he once had, so he deceives man by tempting the with vain, earthly, temporary pleasures so that they may be distracted and not see the purpose that God really has for them.  The only way that we can stand against the wiles of the devil is to study the Word of God and keep it close to our hearts as it says the Truth and only the Truth will set us free. Free? You may be wondering what I mean by being free. Anyone who is not a child of God is bound in sin which is of Satan so naturally you are captive if you are not of Christ. When we accept Christ we take on a precious responsibility and an important one too! We are to be the salt of the earth! Isn’t that just wonderful!! We are to be the shining light that leads other who are lost to Jesus and when we do so we are not to take the praise for ourselves. Our main intention should be that of glorifying God.

✩Lesson 1✩ True Happiness

Q1: What is the only way to true happiness? John 14:6

A: The only was someone can truly be happy is when they come to God, and they can only do so through Jesus.

Q2: Does Jesus hides himself from anyone?  John 1:4, 9

A: No, Jesus does not hide himself from anyone, because He is the Light of the world, open for all to see.

Q3: No matter who you are or your past mistake have been if you come to Him what can you expect Him to do? John 6: 37

He will accept you with open arms if you come to Him no matter what you have done. He will never turn aside a penitent soul.

Q4: What does Jesus give to everyone that comes to Him?  Matthew 11: 28, 29

To those who come to Jesus, He gives them rest. True rest cannot be found outside of Jesus.

Q5: What does Jesus say our present days are like? Matthew 24:37

A: Jesus says that our present days will be like the days of Noah. According to Genises 6: 11,12 the earth was filled with corruption and violence and immorality, so it is in our time.

Q6: What population and moral problems corrupted the world in Noe’s day? Genises 6:1-2

A: There was an increase in the population, and God’s elect people decided to inter-marry with the people of the world.

Q7 :What kind of thoughts filled the minds of people in Noah’s time? Genises 6:5

A: The only thought that lay dominant in the minds of the people in Noah’s time, was to do evil.

Q8: Do you think people in Noah’s day had a pollution problem? Genises 6:11

A: Clearly they did, as the earth was filled with corruption and violence.

Q9: What is the creator’s attitude towards man’s behavior in regards to his creation? Revelations 11:18

A: Because they have sinned and rejected Him, Jesus will destroy and put an end to the wicked and reward the righteous.

Q10: What was missing in their lives in Noah’s day?  Matthew 24:37-39

A: What was missing in their lives in Noah’s day was Jesus.

Q11: How did God prove his love for the people in Noah’s generation, in those tragic days before the flood? Genises 6:3

A: God was forgiving and gave many chances to turn aside from their wickedness, but they refused so their days were numbered.

Q12: How does the creator prove his love for you and me today? John 12:32

A: The creator proves his love for us by expressing that it is His main desire to bring everyone to heaven with him.

Reflection:

True happiness can only be found in Christ. The world is full of deception, things that may look nice and dazzling on the outside but really it’s all a façade. Although there are many things that can give us temporary happiness, there is only one place that we can find true happiness and that is when we come to Christ penitent and humble ready to be accepted in His loving arms. But, you might say, “I am too needy or I am not worthy of such love”. That is just a lie from the devil which, my friend, you need to simply reject. God loves us all every single one of us and He is the only one that truly cares about us, so He will not reject any of us if we come to Him. One thing to keep in mind though, is, although God really loves us, He hates sin! And He will not be where sin abounds. Even though He has suffered long with humanity and their sin, there will come a day when all wickedness and sin is destroyed from the earth, and it’s coming soon so be prepared.

Hi stranger, reading this blog! I wrote this poem for 16 year old me, I think that she really needed to know that God loves her and that He could and has forgiven her. God loves you too, and I hope with my whole heart that you always remember that your never too deficient for God to forgive you…no matter what you have done. It took me three loong years to understand that, I hope you understanf this in a milisecond because it’s very simple and crucial that you know the power of Jesus’ shed blood, that He died for all, that they may have eternal life.

Happy reading:) !

And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Lonesomeness, bleakness, darkness.

She felt unwanted. Forgotten. Unloved.

She was at her breaking point. Life. what is it?

A voice was calling. Wait…it sounded like music to her ears.

Telling her she was forgiven. she was loved. she was worth it,

She knew she didn’t deserve to be forgiven, she knew she had sinned and for that reason…

she felt unworthy. unloved

Nevertheless

He has forgiven her

He gave His life for her

He finds her more precious than gold.

He also loves YOU. He died for YOU. He finds YOU more precious than gold.

He, and ONLY He can love YOU, when you don’t love YOU

He forgives you, so you can forgive him.

He also is THE only ONE that can make you pure afresh. happy. content.

Welcome Friends

I should start by introducing myself, my name is Ruthline Bailey I’m 18 years young, an amateur blogger and a lover of Jesus, cats and tea and photography.

I should start by introducing myself, my name is Ruthline Bailey I’m 18 years young, an amateur blogger and a lover of Jesus, cats and tea and photography.

So your probably wondering, yeah this girl sounds just like my grandma Mary but don’t make speculations too early, let me give you a good backstory of who I am, and why I have grandma vibes 😉 I was born into the Seventh Day Adventist Church, and later started going to the Creation 7th Day Adventist Church. If you never heard about our church you can find out all about us at our website: faithofjesus.to !

Now you know my faith, I was born in Ontario. I lived there for about 5 years, then I moved to BC with my mom and brother. I lived in BC for about 8-10 years then I moved to Saskatchewan, wayyy up north. After being there for a couple years guess what? We moved right back to British Columbia! Around this time I was about 13. As  I grew up in a very small but beautiful town with not the best influences around, I started changing. When I was 15, I started being friends with some kids who weren’t influencing me for good. As time passed and I was now 17, I had drifted so far away from God, I was lonely, depressed and confused. There was a time where I was so engulfed with all my errors and wrongs that I didn’t want to live anymore. I felt like that for quite a few months, I felt like I had messed up, I wasn’t worth it and I didn’t deserve to call myself Christian because I definitely wasn’t living up to that name. We moved houses and we now live farther out of town, I had time to think and reflect on my actions, choices and their consequences. One particular evening, I was feeling depressed and low in spirit, I heard Jesus call me. He said, ” Come to me, I have forgiven you, you only need to have faith and trust in me, not yourself”. That’s exactly what I remember He impressed on my mind and from that day forward I’ve given my life to my Lord, and you can too! No matter how far you’ve gone in the world, how dark things seem around you, or how many errors you have made or how many bad things you have done, 1 John 1:9 says ” If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.”

With this verse in mind we can move forward with our eyes on YAHSHUA(JESUS), never ourselves believing that He HAS forgiven us, that the old man is dead and He has given us a new life to live regardless of what we have done before, dedicating our lives and bodies to Him so He can work in us to do His good pleasure.
